Pixelation - Printed Wood Phone Case
Much like we are made of atoms, everything on a screen is made of pixels. From video games to digital art, pixels are the building blocks of the entire digital world, and the Pixelation woodden phone case brings them off the screen and onto the back of your phone. It puts the digital and the natural in one place: blocky pixels scattered across real wood.
The Pixelation is a UV print on a real wenge backer. A bright, blocky spread of pixels runs across the lower half of the case in reds, pinks, oranges, yellows, greens, and blues, like a gradient broken down into squares, with a cluster of gray and white pixels drifting up toward the top. The pixels thin out and scatter at the edges so the dark wenge grain shows through between them, which makes the whole pattern look like it is either assembling out of the wood or dissolving back into it. Because the backer is real wood, the grain behind the pixels runs differently on every piece.
Each Pixelation is made on a real wenge backer in our Mississauga workshop, with the pixel pattern printed in high-resolution UV ink directly onto the finished, laser-cut wood. Printing over real wenge instead of a flat panel is what lets the grain show through the gaps and ground the digital pattern in something natural. Available for all current iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, with integrated MagSafe magnets and a soft microfiber interior lining on iPhone 13 and newer.

Our cases are created using high-resolution UV printing, laser cut hand finished wood veneer, and a Flexible TPU Rubber shell.
