Moose Tracks - Printed Wood Phone Case
Moose are one of the last of the great northern megafauna, unlike anything else in the woods. Every winter a bull sheds his antlers and regrows them by spring, a built-in fresh start, which feels like as good a reason as any for a new phone case. Moose Tracks wooden phone case puts that whole northern scene on the back of your phone.
The Moose Tracks is a full landscape printed on a real wenge backer. A bull moose stands at the edge of a still lake in the foreground, with a sandy shoreline, a wall of layered pines, and hazy blue mountains stacked up behind it, and a lone bird circling overhead. The palette runs through soft greens, lake-blues, and sandy tans, with the dark wenge grounding the foreground and the base of the case. Because it is printed on real wood, the grain reads through the lighter areas of the sky and water and gives the scene a natural texture, and since the wood is real, that grain falls a little differently on every piece.
Each Moose Tracks is made on a real wenge backer in our Mississauga workshop, with the landscape printed in high-resolution UV ink directly onto the finished, laser-cut wood. Printing onto real wenge instead of a flat panel is what lets the grain show through the scene and gives the darker areas real depth. Available for all current iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, with integrated MagSafe magnets and a soft microfiber interior lining on iPhone 13 and newer.
