Bear Mountain - Wood Phone Case
A bear is one of the most recognizable symbols of woodland adventure and cross-Canada hiking. Designed in collaboration with the talented Canadian illustrator and graphic designer Anthony Wallace, the Bear Mountain folds the forest and the mountains together with the wildlife that calls them home, a whole landscape tucked inside the shape of a single bear.
The design works like a double exposure. The bear itself is cut from pale maple, and inside its outline sits a full mountain scene: cherry mountains capped with snow in white-painted walnut, and a stand of sapele evergreens along the lower slopes. All of it rests on a dark wenge backer, so the pale bear and its little landscape stand right out against the deep brown grain. Because every layer is real wood, the grain runs differently through each piece, so no two bears are exactly alike.
Each Bear Mountain is built by hand in our Mississauga workshop. Every veneer is finished before it's laser-cut, the walnut snowcaps are painted, and the mountains, trees, and bear are then fitted together like puzzle pieces and pressed flush to the wenge back. Available for all current iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, with integrated MagSafe magnets and a soft microfiber interior lining on iPhone 13 and newer.

Our cases are created using hand finished wood veneer, laser cut inlays, and a Flexible TPU Rubber shell.
